Advocate Colonel D.K. Bishnoi, ACIArb, ASIArb, now a Registered Legal Practitioner of Bar Council of Maharashtra and Goa, has been practicing at Bombay High Court, Mumbai, India. He is a member of the Bombay Bar Association and practicing Law in all spheres including Litigation, Adjudication, Arbitration and Mediation. He has also acted as a Sole Arbitrator in Arbitration matters appointed by Bombay High Court.
His educational background includes Graduation Degree of Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) and a Degree of Bachelor of Law (LLB) (Law Graduation) with International Law (1977-1982) apart from Diploma in Senior Level Management.
During his entire Distinguished and Illustrious Career for 38 years, he has been awarded Twice by The Hon’ble President of India.

He has been conducting Lectures on various subjects in various Universities and has also participated in various Debates Forums/Seminars/Conferences.
He achieved excellence as Assistant Director while dealing with Evaluation & Monitoring of Investments at Army Group Insurance Fund with an exposure to a Corpus of more than Rs. 25,000 Crores (US 250 Billion $) apart from dealing with Top 500 Corporate Entities, all the Major Financial Institutions and Business Consortiums while also handling Debt, Default, Recovery, Restructuring, Telecom, Rehabilitation, Mergers and Acquisitions, Joint Ventures, Regulatory, Securitisation, Labour, Matrimonial, Contract and Property disputes including Intellectual Property Laws in almost all the Sectors of Industry. He was also the Director of Recruiting at Northern Zonal Recruiting Office and controlled all the Recruiting and Legal Activities in two States.
He has conducted various Judicial Trials as Presiding Officer of various Courts. He has also acted as Prosecuting Officer, Defending Officer and as Judge Advocate at various Courts (Equivalent to District Court / Session Court).
He has handled Land/Real Estate/Securities/Insurance/Construction Disputes including Delay/Share/Stock Holding Disputes/Power Projects/Infrastructure/ Telecommunication/Investment Related Disputes and other Contractual and Commercial Disputes in different sectors. He has also been assisting Central Government Standing Counsels (SGSCs) in various Courts/Organisations.
He has interfaced with a host of Civil VVIPs Authorities including Foreign Dignitaries for Inter Services / State synergy.
He has also handled Red Cross, Human Rights, Women, Child, Disabled Persons, Senior Citizens, Distressed Persons / Organisations / Entities and NGOs / Societies matters.
He was also part of and assisted The Legal Team Headed by the Senior Counsel Mr. Darius J Khambata (Ex. Advocate General and Ex Solicitor General in Maharashtra State) of the Supreme Court of India in a major case in Bombay High Court with exemplary success.

e) One-day Seminar on “2019 ICC India Arbitration Conference” at Mumbai (India), organized by Arbitration Committee of ICC India and the ICC International Court of Arbitration on 7th December 2019.
